this was a real-time choice game. not like the episode games where every choice expends your energy bar and you need to wait real-life hours for it to charge up. in the game, you were calling a person thru a phone, as if you're their lifeline, and they're replying back in real time.
it probably wasn't a good game because i don't remember much about the plot. it just has a special place in my heart because it was my gateway into the interactive fiction genre.
